I run 450/250 on my saff and can make it from a nice road car to reasonable in track, for outright track I'd go 500/275 as a base. But someone in the know maybe better.

I currently run Gaz gold but looking for something better, I run slicks and wrc anti roll bars and handles great but wouldn't recommend this setup for anything but track use, my car is fairly light 1050kg and spring rates add up to 907kg so if you had a 1400kg car I would go even stiffer

550R 650F has been the rule of thumb on a race car cosworth on slicks If its a dedicated track car running road tyres id start off with 400f and a 300 rear

you need to decide tyre choice before spring rates.

As Jay said, slicks.......

you cant chop and change tyres with slick profile springs.

just buy 2 sets or more, we used to keep a box spare on any of our cars incase we needed intermediates or wets, simple swop of wheels and springs and job done in the pits.

Mine track and drift, more drift than grip lol.
650 front 450 rear, AVO coilovers. Dohc front ARB and 23mm Scorpio rear ARB.
You need about 3 deg camber and lots of caster on the front.

Adjustable top mounts and adjustable TCA's.
About standard height is best due to the angle the TCA's end up at unless you move the crossmember mounting bolt hole up.
At the rear unless you have an adjustable beam your a but stuck, as height goes down then you get more camber. It is possible to fit washers behind the hub or fit wedge shims to reduce it a bit.

How are 2.25" springs I'd. , have a two pairs I hot from an escort cos rally car and two pairs came with the s/h avos I bought.A few off the avos might need a rebuild by the looks of it.

One set of springs from the escos rally car have 145/185 , presume that 14.5" length and 185 lbs , nothing on the others bar coloured
