It was a easy decision for them mate they never wanted it there in the first place that was their time to get the car out he road and they took it ! Never mind it showed it's got what it takes to compete with the pro's not bad for a home built focus built in a shed in Ayrshire

SVA have posted on the MLR saying that the TSL times showed the Focus was doing 48's in the wrong class, he also ran through 10 black flags lol

More politics than F1!
Seems that it would be too embarrassing for the whole of Time Attack for a lone wolf to turn up and beat every single car in the series in a single go, would make them look really bad (which it does!), so they managed to ban him for a trivial mistake. If Roger Clark's Gobstopper had done the same would they have instantly banned them ... of course not.

Driving through 10 black flags is not on. As much as I really wanted to see him win rules are rules and if he had of obeyed the 1st flag he would of been in the final giving it his best.
With the small amount of testing they have done in the car 3rd fastest is very impressive, I have no doubt that the Focus can match the SVA car on pace but it was never going to be a walk in the park but fair play for giving it a go.

Hopefully next year it'll do all the rounds and show us what it can really do

It is admirable that you support your friend but you are in danger of sounding like a Madette

Regardless of whether Andy worked at msport or not, this car was built some 6/7 years ago and with no massive budget and endless development like the NR evo or RC gobstopper etc continually shows how well built it is and how proper motorsport knowledge will out weigh a big wallet. I'm not saying that it didn't cost a bomb to build in the first place but not half as much as the big jap boys.
just imagine what AG Motorsport could do if they built a purpose built Time Attack car and Andy or Charlie ran it after being back into circuit racing!
This site makes me laugh, one of the few fords that run in TA and as a ford site, you should back them not slate them.

Scott Carlo, come on, l think the car is amazing a real credit to him, ok maybe he worked for MSport a while back and now he builds/fabricates his cars in a bloody great garage, my point is it is hardly "home built" the guy works on cars for a living the knowledge acquired over the years means he knows exactly what he is doing.
Not slating just making the point when the blinkers are on.

Carbon Crazy

I'd love to have a go at this in a few years but i doubt my car in its current form would pass the tech regs due to chopped up chassis/4wd etc let alone once ive made a carbon monococque and registered it through IVA.
Although i note it says any recognised manufacture so i could always set up a £49.99 limited company called "psycho warrens cars ltd" and name it "psycho one" as a manufactured low volume car and then advertise it at £6 billion so it never sells.

The car was flying all day and Andy was on form
If the lap time i heard was correct, he would have been well clear at the top, just in the wrong session
We almost did the same as there was 2 versions of the timetable foating around, and they split the finals which is not normal.

just finding my feet
Time attack said last year it would've cars who ain't legal to run as a special one off at a event,, they obviously stick to it and invited Andrew Gallagher in the event,, shame about the black flag but missing 7 black flags is quite bad tbh considering he is a race licence holder not a track day novice
Though SOO pissed I missed it as a mate had to get back due to work commitments
I'm hoping to visit a few more of these events next year
