cleaning blasted charge pipe???

Default cleaning blasted charge pipe???

i had a charge pipe blasted as it had a million layers of paint on it

how do i clean this, i tried running some engine cleaner through it but still not the best?

ive been told to use wd40 (loads of) to get all the stuff too stick too it then petrol and finish with a high pressure washer???

has anyone had this and sorted it and how...........

i really want too use it as its a fiesta rst one thats been modded to fit on my zetec and fits perfect, and will be a ball ache too do another and have the same problem after someone cuts/ machines and welds my other one?

We use a cocktail of old diesel/petrol/brake cleaner for our engine parts and that works a treat with a bit of elbow grease

If you had it blasted, surely it's clean, or what was the point of having it blasted only to require more cleaning ?

he's cleaning it to get rid of any of the blasting compound that might still be in the charge carrier

What about soaking it in jizer? Take it out to dry or even better an air line. Just a thought

as dubs44 says its got loads of small filings in the inner charge carrier

so will kill my engine in no time at all

i thought it was being sand blasted and they used some metal blasting???
