Yeah well I am in talks about an ecu atm from boost monkeys. Defo looking an option...
By the way the dimensions for the washers are 2mm thick, 20mm I/D, 24mm O/D.
Ok, i can get some shims machined up. But i need to know what grade of steel is suitable. At the moment we have T24 Grade.
Karlos your wisdom may be useful here mate
No still look like new mate. They were under area six springs tho not 106 ones but can't see that making any difference. My two new builds both have devil's springs.

Awesome! If i had a brain id just go devil like i told myself i would
But i like the challenge, wish i didnt but i do
On a budget build there's no need for the devils kit but both my new builds are 500hp plus engines
so say on a budget build, would you say they'd cope to 250 mark? mines a pretty free flowing setup. Rover inlet and Area six exhaust manifold. im nt going the whole hog for this build. I'll be running Mega Squirts too, so ill have a decent amount of quality parts for when i eventually go for a decent budget build

I'd go with a some st170 springs but the 106 is worth a try.
you wouldn't have to go mad with the grade of steel. Most stem seal steel is relatively soft (including zetecs), lots of cars even have the springs sitting straight on the ally head without seat washers at all.
That's the stiffer 106 springs. I'd have thought it would have to be slightly more for stock?? Or run 2-3mm and be even more limited to boost than 106??

No mate, stock springs, I've never tried 106 springs.
