Default AA Renewal

I had my renewal come in the post.

The cover is for the wife and me with roadside assistance and recovery.

The cost is £179

Phoned them up and said I would leave due to the cost.

The lady said what if we reduce the price, I said depends how much.

Well I now have the same cover for £105, £74 cheaper for the price of a phone call. So phone them up and tell them your going to leave when your renewal is up.

I have also just done the same and have done for the last 3 years
And if its just a single membership you can get that down to £85 which is a bargain considering they cover my Jumbo Transit for that price.

They sent my renewal with less than a week to go till expiry. Rang them up to complain about the short notice and the HUGE price increase, and cancelled there and then.

Haven't renewed yet, but looking for recommendations - haven't been wild about the AA since they took over 4 hours to come to the centre of Edinburgh.
