Haha rog I've got one of those spastic friends too unfortunately. Pretty sure he was dropped on his head repeatedly.
It must be gutting to lose a car you've put so much time into but fair play for starting a new project. As it happens I don't mind orions either so good on you and good luck with it.
I love the fact it's apparently snobbery when someone doesn't like something and they shouldn't be on a ford forum. As it happens I dislike most new fords and any new rs I own will have an audi badge. Shall I close the door behind me?

Agree, don't like any 'new' RS's, starting from the Mk5/6 RS2000 and ANYTHING after that.

only thing I thought when I saw it was your going from a s1 that gets looks everywhere and is going up and up in value to an orion which will still get looks just not as many and unfortunately won't be as wanted as a s1.
still the main thing is you are happy with it and it looks a good base for a project.
i'd like to see it on some escort cosworth alloys tho, Remember seeing a mag feature on a blue one running them that looked brilliant.

Wahay!! I've lost my Virginity!!
It was lift off oversteer I was talking about, didn't say anything about being a drifter just a bit of fun.
My S1 was great, looked awesome and was admired wherever I went, until someone helped me to destroy it completely!
On the other hand, I have always loved Orion's, don't know why, just do and this one is planned to be a bit of a sleeper, no one is gonna suspect an old burgundy onion!
Also it's provisionally booked in for all the work next week.

It's all finally settled, the guy was taken to court and some for driving without due care, his insurance has settled up, my excess and no claims have been reinstated.
