Evening all.. Just purchased this last week, needs some attention as all mk3 escorts do, but does anyone no who did the conversion or any history on the car.. Just flew through an MOT with minor advisories, very solid underneath etc... Is it worth a turbo conversion? Had my series one for years but family and house buying meant that went but this is a bit if fun for summer

Only an xr3 1.6 cvh, plus that's breathing heavy so needs something doing. Might just tidy it up and see if I get any interest for sale. Not to sure yet, still love an original S1.. With a decent turbo lump and other goodies in sure it will fool me enough as long as I don't look in my rear view mirror!

I could do, turbo power would be fun again, would it be a worth while project,?if i was to do it I would stay 1600 cvh and mfi for the budget, see how it handles and stops with the extra power before going crazy...
