Default Peoples views on the Jaguar XF diesels..

Seen a nice looking Jaguar xf 3.0d s portfolio. Seems good on paper and with pretty much every option imaginable, 270hp and 40+mpg sounds to good to be true, wondered if anyone on here owned an xf or if not had driven one? If so what are they like as an overall car? Thanks

Never owned one, just driven one on a few occasions in a spirited manner. Lovely things they are too. I'd happily own one, nice comfy place to be.

The 's' portfolio seems to be the best of the diesel models to go for i think, comes with heated and cooled seats,440w stereo, reverse camera, keyless entry and go all as standard and i do like a car with lots of toys
Like the look of them just wonder if they look a bit 'rep mobile' like. Would love an xfr but wouldnt want to put fuel in it

That is good to know that someone who works for Jaguar says good things about them Did they update or facelift them at any point? The one I'm interested in is a 10 plate

12 plates had a facelift, different mirrors, wing vents, bonnets, headlamps and bumpers.
Our MD has just had the new front end put on at work, i had the pleasure of wiring the new headlamps in.
