Thanks for the answers guys.. I'm sick of them leaking on various cars and turbos I've had over the years..
Tony, do you not run the water cooling on customers cars then?

NOT pluming in the water pipes could cause a shorter life span of the turbo(I'll look it up and post some info).

have a read yourself it's YOUR choice but I'd tend to go with people in the know!

I don't get why you're having issues with the banjos leaking, you must be doing something wrong for it to be a problem with the right washers and the correct torque mine have never leaked, only time I have ever seen leaks is with improper assembly, rusty surfaces and shit corroded washers.

Do you have any kind of washers in there with the banjo, there should be, I usually run one either side and make sure all surfaces are spotless, the last time I fitted a turbo I couldn't get the right sized ones locally anywhere, but I stumbled accross a weber fuel injection place who gave me some that I used and they were perfect.
It's good to know that the cooling is not completely required though as long as you're careful.

Lol mate, yep.. Nice shiny washer each side and heat/glycol resistant sealant. It's not the seal with the bolt thats the issue this time its the actual pipe.
I'm guessing it's probably because the turbo has been on and off a good few times in the last 18months and the metal has been fatigued with the constant fitting/removal..

new metal pipes are available on ebay cheap enough, my supra had a brand new hks £3000 turbo fitted and no water pipes plumbed in ! lol
some people in the devon area shouldn't be left in charge of peeling a banana lol
