i've been rolling an e46 330ci m sport convertible since december, lovely motor, just too damn slow for me, so as soon as i can afford to buy an m3 i'll be changing.
i have been looking at m5's too, they rally have dropped in price, parts are quite expensive though as to be expected.

Had my E39 530d for just over two years now & 52k of miles, it's now approaching 194k and still drives perfectly.
I'm worried just how much I enjoy driving a diesel automatic, they really are fantastic cars the E39s, would love an M5 but doing 600 miles a week+ the fuel would cripple me
Can't get over what a good chassis they have for a big old car either.
