Default who knows their bmw's then?

my mate has sent me this message

Are the BMW Alpina B3 BI-Turbo's any good? Seen one I am considering - a hard top convertible to swap with my current 2005 BMW 318ci Convertible. (Although mine's only done around 30k miles and is black with red leather). Can't figure out if the Alpina is fairly fuel efficient...

he's not a car "enthusiast" he just want a nice car for his mrs

any pointers as to what to lok out for, value's etc would be appreciated and passed on

cheers

Resale of an alpina would be much higher than a run of the mill 3 series, more sort after and usually better specced.
