Default Brakes

Hi ,

Having an issue with my 3 door, the abs pump does not seem to be able to pressurise the accumulator .
This only happens when hot, it 30 degrees c here today, and I think my exhaust may be transfering heat to the brake lines on the bulkhead.(would this cause this, boiling brake fluid)
Also the first time my fuel pump sang loader than normal @ under 1/4 of a tank.

Anyone had any experience with this?

Thanks , T

Is the motor turning continuasly? or turning off?
If you pump the pedal without the ignition on then turn the ignition on the motor should start up then turn off after 140bar is made in the master.

It will not turn off and does not suck oil to prime accumillator when hot but leave it an hour and it will prime and the pressure switich will shut it down.

Cheers, T

Id say it was the hydraulic pump on the back of the motor
As it heats up your loosing pressure.
Id suggest you get another motor and replace it all as a unit
