What's your favourite car you own/owned?
Controversial but in the long list of cars ive owned it has to be the Fiat Uno Turbo MK2, it wasn't the most eye catching but immense fun and very unsafe

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
My xr4i. The 2nd car I bought after an Orion. Wasn't the fastest, but was great fun in the wet, or dry come to think of it. Had rear discs and diff fitted so loved roundabouts. Was in great condition too. I have some pics somewhere.

The more turbos,more fun!
Out of the 41 cars ive owned i only regret selling one.
300bhp, Volvo 850R complete with an exhaust that popped, banged and licked flames for fun and embarrassed alot of so called fast cars.

Ive never really had the spare cash to go for the BMW's/Audi's etc
In terms of 'bang for buck' & something that spurs you on to drive, my 2001 Y reg 1.7 Puma. Awesome little car, handled like it was on rails, brilliant on fast B roads & put some other, more expensive machinery to shame.
My mates laughed at me when I first got it, but a quick ride in the passenger seat soon shut them up & they liked it after that.
I lavished a lot of time, effort & money getting it SPOT on, I was gutted when it got written off through no fault of my own
In terms of practicality/standard equipment levels, then my current daily, which is a 2010 plate MK2 SEAT Leon 1.4TSi Sport. Great car, very happy with it.
I know looks can be a bit marmite, but I like the styling, looks a bit different to your other hatchbacks which all look similar

My current RS turbo, everytime i go out in it i turn into a hooligan giggeling away, i can drive any of the company cars at the garage i manage, but new cars are so boring, i would rather hop in my rustbucket, and go off down the road torquesteering and tyresmoking

Happily retired
Thats a hard one. My very first Mini back in the mid 60's was a legend of a car. My ex.Gerry Marshall Lotus was a great sorted car. The car below a GSM Flamingo was my courting weapon very very rare only 2 in the UK the other owned by Gordon Murray. My Cossie enabled me to fulfill a dream to build the fastest car of its marque so still dear to my heart.
Cant really pick one but if pushed that White Mini would transport me back to the great days of the 60's.
This thread started me looking through some old photos can i ever have owned something like this well i actually had 2 of them WOW! it really looks dated now it was in immaculate condition if only i owned it now.

The cars that I think I've had that were the most fun were my first car, a 1400 Orion Equipe purely because it was my first car and I've got a lot of good memories of it and my Fiesta RS Turbo. The Fiesta was such a clean and tidy car and great fun, I sold it to buy my Cossie and I wish I hadn't!
The best all round car I've had is my Focus ST170 which is my daily runner at the moment. Probably not a car some folk will say is a good car but I like it, I didn't pay a lot for it and it's a very tidy car! Just a couple bits of bodywork to sort out thanks to inconsiderate arseholes and it'll be spot on!
