I recently got a set on here! (Ian Howell lower arms) I haven't got round to putting them on yet but I will.. They are very similar to the original one BUT rose jointed. This will have the affect of holding the suspension geometry where it is intend as the Steel rose joints will not give like the flexible rubber ones so giving better handling. I had to pay quite a bit for them second hand!

The reason I wanted the adjustable lower arms was becouse they have rose jointed bearings instead of the rubber ones in standard arms an also try to reduce the tire wear on the inside edge which always is an issue with a lowered car with this sorted should handle better aswell

Au contraire, I have the escort/orion ones on my car, and I'd say they are very well made and make a significant difference to the handing of the car
