does anyone know what these conenctors are called??
i think they are called military type connectors,, but aint too sure,, will have a lookie through rs and farnell when i get into work in a few hours!
written on it is
deutsch as610-98pn rp15511528

there known as cannon plugs/connectors.found all over aircraft and you will see them fitted to f1 cars.they are wired from the center out ie number one pin is in the dead center and the sequence spirals outwards from that point.

they are autosport connectors available from servo interconnect ltd www.servo-il.com

Got some if you need them, we use the 6 and 5 pin type for speed sensors etc

The mating connector to the one you have there is AS110-98SN

thanks mate,, i had an email this morning form deutsch telling me too get in touch with servo,,, i never heard of them before,, but i guess they are big

speed sensors for the active system on the car we use are from farnell, honeywell igt101dc about Ł14 each

don't know if these are the same for a stack system but we have used em for distance and speed into our coralba trip meters etc and also into the diff controllers...

Probably of no use...

the stack uses a two wire proxi whixh is different too the one in farnell

sibster any idea where to get the colour AMP timer connectors (Injectors plugs)? Black is easy but having great difficuly finding coloured item in the country.

Ryan,

All the looms I have seen done by pectel, gems and the other loom manufacturers never seem to use any other colour other than black....even vehicle wiring products have only relatively recently managed to get a decent range of timer connectors....so in this instance i can't help.... ....

no worries VWP is who i use but they can only supply black.
