Default Peugeot Techies?

One of our work vans, a 61 plate Expert 1.6 HDI with 5000 miles on the clock keeps blowing out the dipstick and there is a bit of blue smoke from the exhaust under load. Have you heard of this before? The dealer has been contacted but they can't see it for 2 weeks and the van is in daily use.

Anyone have any ideas as to what it could be? If it's an easy fix then may as well just do it ourselves rather than risk more damage while waiting for the dealer to look at it.

Cheers

Rich

Don't these dump the turbo's. I got a bulletin from the motor factors about 1.6 HDi motors. I would expect it to be under warranty being 61 plate

There is a bit of gauze/filter in the turbo that gets blocked and nacks the turbos. You have to use the correct oil.

Send it to the dealer. Its under warrenty.
