Escort mk4 5 speed.

Hi guys I'm coming to you for some help again. My escort is the 1.3 ohv with a 4 speed box my question to you is would a cvh 5 speed bolt straight up to it obviously with the 5speed linkage ?

I did this years ago on a mk5 escort, yes they bolt up i used a mk5 1.4 cvh box

Excellent ill be using a 1.6 cvh box I can't see them
Brig any different though?

i think its only the final drive thats differant but i am talking 10 years ago i did this so might be wrong

i 100% converted a 1.3 ohv to 5 speed though using cvh box so you will be fine
