if u can find a newer australian ford falcon in a salvage yard in the uk, i'm pretty sure the rear sub frame/axle will bolt straight in, been looking into this myself, but never went further than the research, but the subframe bolts look to be in the right place, and if there is a smashed falcon/fairlane in a salvage yard the parts won't be expensive cos the cars are rare so nobody wants the bits, other option would be to ship one over from OZ, but that would cost a packet, i think i read somewhere that it uses the same diff as a skyline

Yes

I can't remember the name of it but I saw it on EBAY a few years ago and is made in the states.

Cradle for the front end to take a Mustang V8 and stuff for the back end to take a Mustang Axle.

I am sure an internet search will see it found and I'm sure it could be converted to what ever you wanted. Was bolt on too.

Shings ive seen the front cradle i would like for a V8 ive got lieing around if it doesnt sell on ebay this week but didnt want a live axle wanted IRS with LSD but without going the sierra floorpan route and cossie diff.

Sticky just thinking that low mileage 4.6 V8 and trick manifold ive got lieing about into either a 3dr or saloon focus shell and then see what else we can use to put it together

don't worry about the live axle, they handle great with it, the RS8 focus built by ford, based on the kegel komponents kit was put up against a lambo i a side by side test by a mag, and the focus handed the lambo it arse on a plate.

here is the article, its an interesting read

the kegel kit is a lot of money for not alot of product, u could build the kit urself for well under a grand, i went out to kegel in 2005 and test drove the red focus on there web site, mark_24v_wiring was there but he didn't get to drive it, kegel himself took mark for a spin and ran the car out of petrol,

u swap the front struts to the opposite side of the car, this then puts the steering arm of the strut to the front, so u can mount a rack to the engine cradel, i think from memory for rhd u use a fiesta rack but not sure what year, the original focus front subframe has a gap cut in the rear to allow the gearbox to fit, u need to enlarge the tunnel by a little, not as much as u would think, the red kegel demo car still had all the original plastic bits on the enlarged tunnel, they cut out the spare wheel well but u only really need to cut a little bit to allow for the axle, but they cut it all so they can mount the fuel tank under the flat replacement panel, i did have a load of pics of the kegel demo car, as they put it up on a two post lift for me, but i think the pics were lost when i had a hard drive fail.

here is how the axle fits
