Looks like a charge cooler , would be needeing that in summer temps well above 40c.

its a pace charge cooler kit for cossies, but didnt work very welll compared to an intercooler

had the rst version onm y cab and that made a hell of a difference over a std cooler, but cossies wasnt worth it at almost 1k new compared to a 500 cooler at half the price

Its a charge air cooler is to provide cool dense air to the car engine.

Agree, I worked at pace and tested one on my car, with a 500 I/c and it made no difference at all but if space is a issue and you can't go for a 500 I/c then it will help the std cooler, but as said above on a rst frst r5 they work well but they are 3x bigger

Interesting stuff, so they would be no benifit in a sierra with a rs500 ic but in a mk1 escort with a baby ic it may work?
