Have you heard any bad review about the SCS beam? I haven't and not seen a car with one fitted unable to do what the driver pushes it hard to do. They don't twist and the fab work is second to none. Really mate, if I had a spare 1k right now, I wouldn't hesitate. Have you been in a high powered Cossie with one fitted? You'll be sold by the end of 2nd gear

You having a laugh right? John won't let anyone drive that But I did back it out of the drive once But in the passenger seat in snow/ice days around Snowdonia, in the rain, in hot sun and trying to kill me on the way to my own wedding....it's the best mod you can fit! Hard to explain, but on a stock beam in a straight line, you nail it and if it's wet the beam want to step out. Now on this beam, you can feel the back end twist a little to the right and it grips down hard with no awkward nervous twitch. You need to get in one

Mark at MK Motorsport noticed something about my SCS beam that wasn't ideal. To be honest I can't remember exactly what it was, it was minor but still frustrating when spending that kind of money you expect it to be perfect.
I think it was something to do with the toe adjustment and it matching from either side.
But tbh, if I was to do it all again, I'd still get an Ahmed/Rainbum/SCS beam

Flannigan, we've never had an issue with it coming loose on race cars or road cars but a concentric nut set up is a possibility if you do have trouble. And is easy to fit if you know anybody handy with a tig

I am not allowed to comment comparing beams as you know, but the scs beam differs very slightly, in the way of which they are fabricated. I won't say anymore as I don't want any more points LOL

I'm using a Scs 6 degree rear beam on my 3dr the fabrication work is really good !!! I measured the arms and are the same length , mine is set to 2 and a half neg camber and it's perfect for road and track. Tyre wear is much better than before , I know these beams are a bit dear but they make the car handle so well

Ah fair enough mate, I wasn't aware that had been fixed, thought it was just something that was seen as ok, and considered fine
Found the thread:

I don't think it was the inner/outer though: From reading back it, seems that when both inner joints were put in the same positions on the slots, it was giving different toe readings each side

Ive heard loads of good things about changing the rear beams and arms on cossies too.Its just the price is a bit to much for me.If it was 500 quid for the suspension i might consider it.

Ah Glenn the money isn't that bad for what you get. Go in a Cossie with one fitted, you'll love how not like a typical Cossie it feels on the back end, you can actually use all the power
