Default F Super diagnostics

Evening all

Seen it spoke about on another forum but wanted your opinions! Says it reads and clears airbag and ABS faults etc that alot of cheaper diagnostic tools dont. Does anyone use this program? What do you think of it? Obviously it won't beat a proper diagnostic machine but for home use it should be alright.

Cheers

Rich

Cheers guys, well my mk3 mondeo diesel very occasionally flashes up the ABS warning light, but it's goes out again when you restart the engine. I presume it's a sensor dropping out once in a while. Was going to keep a laptop in the car then next ime the light comes on, get it plugged straight in to see which sensor is dicky.

Just thought I would pop this info I have found out on diagnostic tools, I bought a ELMS327 1.5 off ebay and could not get it to work properly, then I decided to do a bit of investigating and went to the Elms site only to find that they have never made the versions 1.5 or a 1.4a, however they do make a 1.4b they say that the other's are clones of their equipment, anyhow I sent it back to the supplier asking for a 1.4b which is made by ELMS, explaining what I have just discovered on the site, he promptly gave me a refund and has never contacted me since.. So the outcome is that I am still on the lookout for a 1.4b (GENUINE)... Anyway I just thought I would make you aware of what you may be buying...Kindest Regards Fred

I have Fordscan and Formidable - same thing really.

I have read codes, reset codes and am able to recode injectors (never have).

I can use live date which it handy.

I can't access the airbag and I don't think I can access stuff like ABS but have never tried.

If you are running a mk3 Mondeo then you should not be without this kit for £20 odd.
