Are you going N/A or turbo,d Ron ?

Either way probably best person to ask would be Dalsy he's done this conversion in his fiesta and assisted with many other similar conversions

ron , if the focus is a whole car you might be better prepping that for track as it will end up a better handling track car than the escort and already has decent brakes etc ,
punt the escort for the focus bits you need , cage and coil overs

Cheers lads, I'm in limbo land right now!
Fancy an older motor with modern engine and power, was thinking ST engined but unsure.
N/A would be more along my lines I think, bit more reliability!
I agree the Focus would be a better long term buy but it has the wrong badge!!
Looks like Ford Fair out the way and a for sale add then!!
Appreciate the feedback, should o kept the feckin 205!!!

Doddle to fit the engine, use an RST box when you have thrown the DMF away!

I run throttle bodies on mine and it's silly quick, 100% reliable, sounds awesome and I also see 40mpg on the motorway

If your local to me your welcome to come and have a look round my car to see what's involved

you should just buy my Fiesta Ron, and be done with it, has all the right bits fitted, is very reliable, forged ST170 engine and over 200 bhp normally aspirated

Ill be at Ford Fair with my car at the weekend, come over to the West of Scotland RSOC stand to have a look and chat about conversions

Believe me I've looked at it several times in your add and It's value for money considering how much it'd cost to build, you might see me providing I get all my jobs done!
Track, judging and a 5 year old with nae mrs might delay me some what!
Maybe see U then.

Boost monster on here and his son have just done the conversion on a 1.1 mk2 fiesta. Pretty much exactly the same as what your looking at I’ll find the build thread and post the link
