Sapphires are WAY nicer to drive than Escorts. Escorts look better.

Personally I don't think I'd ever own an Escort, they saying 'never meet your heroes' really does appy to the Escort Cosworth.

I'm sure that is true, but I've never driven one with less than 400bhp, so I don't know how bad they are below that level LOL.

Wicked to look at but poor handling and the need for loads of power to compete with equivalent cars just made me sell mine on fairly quickly.

My R32 may not look as good but is such a better handling car, more reliable and quicker than my escos ever was.

I driven a few standard ones and they are quite frankly a bit scary to push hard

Really do need decent shocks springs, to make them handle, but it's easy to go overboard

Ebony every time you post, there is a different reson for selling your escort ,wouldn't say there poor handling if correct suspension fitted, seen a lot of hodges on my car done from previous owners and you wouldn't be leave how much better it drives and handles with a bit of time spent and a good set of tyres.handles better than any of my previous wafts now.and once bar a box and 500 ponies will be spot on

There are a few reasons stu that's why.

If we ever get a chance and you get your car to 500 we can have a bit of a duel on track sometime if you like.

But as I said, from a looks perspective, my old car wins hands down.
