My best run's always came from about 5.5-6k, just feel the clutch bite, then dump it, no idea how my transmission took it so many times.

Fair enough lol I'm still needing some practice aswell so maybe once I've got a few bits together for the skyline box conversion I will give it a bit more stick lol

Yeah, practice makes perfect, took me a while to break mine into the 12's.

That's what I'm aiming for this year when I got the car finished and on the road I said I would only take it up the strip once just to see what it would do lol central day was the 2nd lot of runs I've done now lol

Running 13.2's with a gentle launch, i would imagine 12's are in there easily. If i knackered a launch up i'd be in the 13's! With a full on attack one i was running 12.4's consistently.

Danster, she'll be at classic ford with any luck, and it will be on the strip, it'll just be making loads of noise and smoking the rear wheels and putting in shocking times instead. lol

As you said practice makes perfect so I will try and get to a few rwyb days aswell and get a little practice even if it just dips into the 12s I will b happy for a little while lol
