Default That sinking cossie feeling already!

Well I've mentioned a couple of times recently that the good old cossie/RS feeling was back and I was feeling enthusiastic about it all. New turbo bought and mapping booked etc.

However I can't help but be a little nervous around cossie what with my history

So my new BFF () Rog fitted the turbo yesterday but the battery was fucked. Back he went today and cranked the car to prime the oil to the turbo. ZERO oil pressure at first made me a very worried boy

However after a wee bit of a faff and a call to me RS Toughy they got rough and coaxed her in to life.

Thank fuck She hadn't been started for 2 years

I wont make any more extravagent claims until she is mapped

Oil pressure would have taken a while to get up if it's been sat for a long period previous as it would have emptied the full oil system/pump.

Glad to her it's back to life

Perhaps not but I've had enough of that shit. I want it to be more like my motorbike. A ballistic missile that I can garage, take out when I want, thrash like fuck, kick some arse, put it back in the garage then repeat when necessary

If it wasn't tappety before it will be fine, tappets probably emptied too and will take a couple of miles to fill them back up proprely, wouldn't worry

engine will be fine after its been run for a while - mine sounded like a right bag of nails on first start up and its beginning to quieten down now so hopefully with a bit more running time it will be nice and smooth too.
