I did use mine for the first 3 months as I sold my regular driver to fund the cos....

Did'nt enjoy it much to be honest. To much hassle, picking parking places, worried of it getting broken into, bit's going missing etc....

Used to, with very few issues. Then got a cheap runabout from work, which, id say, gave more trouble than the saff! Now got a company van, which is my daily. Free to use, can't be bad!

Ive used mine as my daily in the 6 years of ownership and will continue to do this.

There was a few winters where i put my car away for the winter put this winter gone i had to use it through the winter.

It does cars more harm not using them.

I used to run mine every day to work and back and had no real issues other than the amount of petrol is used!

No, it's too much hassle as said, worrying if it's still going to be where you left it when you return or damaged etc, the car itself would have no problems what so ever barring this.

Why would you need it? If it's maintained correctly etc (as with any car) then there is no reason why it would let you down.

When the salt's off the roads I use mine daily. It's a sensible 4 door saloon car after all - loads of people got them as company cars back in the late 80s/early 90s.

New fan loom, pump loom, extremely reliable

don't agree glenn, my escort has never seen a salty slush covered road, a car sat in a warm carpeted garage over the winter months is going to fair better than one covered underneath in salt/slush/dampness!!

Im about to get my escort out of the garage this weekend and I haven't used it since early september, it won't even need a wash!!
sat in that garage over winter is doing it no harm whatsoever

What i ment was that leaks start to appear due to oil seals going hard and coolent pipes perishing.

I used to use my Escort daily for about 3 year, then it was pretty much off the road for a year or two. Finally got it reliable at the end of the summer last year, so starting to enjoy it again now.

I used mine every day for about 3 months a year a so ago and it was fine apart from worrying about leaving it places and the cost to run it. Wouldn't like to do it again really, much better just kept as a toy.
