I just booked ryanair Edinburgh to Oslo torp for 4 and an Audi a3/vw golf hire car for the grand total of Ł383!!!! Ł96 each.
It's 2hrs to gatebil from there inc a short ferry from horten to moss. We are just gonna get a hotel on route for the fri. Hotels are a bit pricey from what I see round 150 quid per twin room. Gatebil ticket sat/sat nite and sun is about Ł75. Dunno what we are doing about sleep on sat nite yet and we'll get a hotel again on sun nite and fly back Monday.

Don't be a fanny, get to the camp site and bring plenty of beer with you 
The price of the weekend ticket's with camping should be around the Ł100 mark so just put one of those pop up tents in your bag

Lol flights not in till 23 30 then 2hrs drive and dunno anything about ferry or times then need to park and pitch a tent half pissed at 4am.... Em naw.
we will prob camp on the sat though.

Aye mate, space for one, but it might be tight (*awaits piss takes 
) with the tools, cooler box, beer etc. in there. Just bring a tent mate, you're better off because you'll miss all the night fun too and being woken up by monsterous car noises

Just for anyone who's still thinking of going, too late to book a freight now because they only allow a certain amount (6 actually) of civilians onboard who aren't taking anything freight wise over. Plenty of room for cargo, as many cars as you want, its just that you won't be going with it

Not much mate, I'll be doing that crossing to get to Brevik for my return ferry to Immingham 
Take 30 mins to cross and they come every 30 mins.
