Default Mk1 focus Rs alarm help.

Basically put the car down to store in november sometime... And yesterday went to resurrect it... The battery was flat so I opened the driver door with key.. Then opened the bonnet and jump started... Went to petrol station and filled up..came home cleaned it and when I put it away in garage locked it with fob... And now every 10-20 mins the alarm is going crackers... Anyone in the know... I'm pretty sure it to do with the fob and key and not sure how to reset it..

Cheers Mat.

Just a thought but maybe it has something to do with the battery not having much juice in it, or maybe you have fried something jump starting it? Just guessing really

Maybe Nick... But I thinks it more to do with the fob fighting the key... I've had this before but I've forgot how to reset it.

Is this any help?

https://passionford.com/forum/ford-f...alarm-fob.html

When locking your car you should press the ford key lock buttom twice untill indicators flash twice, this activates dead locks and ford alarm. Then press the big button on the fob once, indicators will flash once and a quiet beep will be heard, that activates the cat 1 alarm

Unlock, big button on fob first then open button on ford key.
I know the bonnet catches/switch play up on Focus as well, worth checking.
