rust proofing idiot's guide ??
 

When the weather warms up i will be rust proofing my s2 is there a guide on what areas are a must etc and whats the best stuff to use ??

Waxoyl with the gun , costs about £25 and lasts all year then re apply end of next winter etc . Do not use it if the car is wet/damp tho as it will trap the water under it and wont do its job .

Its a mk4 escort, they rust EVERYWHERE Lol.

Id do batt tray, fuse box, behind headlights, inside the doors, along the bottom of the doors, sills, wheel arches, boot floor.

Im even going to strip the carpet out and respray the floor just for good measure when it warms up abit!
