Half moon seals over the cams (pulley side) are a common problem if not fitted correctly. Otherwise, what kind of gasket does he use for the cover itself?

I never use sealant on the cam cover gasket only a small touch on the half moon seals.

What you should do is smear the gasket with grease and torque the cover down using a torque wrench to the settings in the manual and it won't leak unless the cover is warped.

If you tighten by hand it will always leak.

Don't use sealer on the rocker cover, f*cking annoying bodge job

Take the rocker cover off, clean both faces of the head and cam cover of any old sealer or gasket, buy a proper Cometic gasket and new Ford half moon seals. Only bit of sealer you should use is a blob on each corner of the half moon seals to keep in place as you fit the rocker cover.

Mine doesn't leak, so get it sorted

Spot on that mate identical to mine and never had a problem, shouldn't have to seal it all around, that's why u have a gasket in the first place

I use the NBR ones same as cometic but cheaper... And certainly no sealer used that's just a bodge job.!
