I've phoned my mate today who was a Escort World Car & told him if he gets offered any WRC parts to let me know. He's texting me Tony Conwy's number & another Rally breaker to see if they have been offered anything.

Fucking sickening!!!

Surely this has been planned due to the type if cossie this is! I wouldn't be supprised that some people on here has something to do with it mate to be honest, you never know who's who really.

Some serious parts on this car which stick out like a sore thumb, so it should be hard for whoever to sell on in this country, whoever could even use the parts for there escos? So keep your eye people building a mental escos.

Really do hope it turns up, looks amazing!

[quote=RickoG66;5653155]Hi the car was in a unit just outside macclesfield in leek having a bit of body work tidy'd up so nearside front wing & rear quarter & a bit on off side rear quarter were apparently in grey primer and no rear bumper was on car & its gone between 8pm last night & 11am this morning the lady who lives opposite went out about 9am unit doors shut came back unit doors open (hasp & staple bolt croppered off) B5 JAM gone more than likely on flat bed or low loader as it wasn't the easyest thing to start & not exactly quiet!!

sad times, and its happening all to much lately. to be honist if that was my car theres no way i would have left it in a unit secured by a hasp an staple. is the unit alarmed? hope it gets found in one pice mate

Sorry to hear the car has been stolen, but what I cant understand is why a car of such high value does not have proper security items fitted. Yes I know its a track car but surely still having an alarm, and even more importantly in this case, a tracker is a must??

Am i wrong in thinking that trackers have a seperate power source when disconnected from the main feed? (Battery)

Thats how I believe it works. Sort of like a capacitor I think (in not an electrical expert so it might not be the correct component).

Why do people assume a tracker is infallible my uncle had two landrovers stolen both fitted with trackers both driven daily so nothing to do with batteries going flat or whatever and they were never found and no signal was ever picked up from the trackers...

Gutted for James though, i've posted it on my facebook but like Ran im down in berkshire so the likelyhood that it will appear down here is slim..

Wouldn't be surprised if its in a lock up next to the one it was stolen from! Heard of that a few times. Got to be someone there who's saw the car if its off the beaten track.

If I was the fucker (aka robber), I would keep the car in a garage for some time, so then people start to forget about it. So guys, I'm not in the UK so cannot help apart from looking on internet, but keep an eye on this even during the next weeks/months ! Really hope it gets found tho, that's one heck of a car !!
