Hi im getting a new egr valve tomorrow and wondered if it needed programing to the ecu and if so can most garages carry this out or will it need to go to ford? i removed the old one and cleaned it as it was seized then refitted it and had the light put out but as soon as the car was cold it came back on and said egr valve so i guess the electronic bit on top is kapoot.

simple swap over they dont need coding (thats the injectors)
