Default tyre size

whats the biggist size tyre you can fit on the back of a saff on 17's with no arch mods and no rubbing ive got coil overs so can adjust height

not knocking you matey cus i dont know but what are the advanteges of bigger rear tyres ? on a 2wd

Ive been told that if you go for 235's on a 7" wide rim this can affect handling so bear this in mind when your choosing

I know Mike R experimented with this for a little bit, as I did.

I always ran a 225/35 on the back. I know you can get a 235/40 on there at a squeeze, but Mike used to find the back moved a little on the sidewall.

I ran 225/35 all round, and had no arch problems, although it was very close!
