NAVIGATOR WANTED: The Countdown Navigational Rally (Cumbria)
 

I am looking at doing The Countdown Navigational Rally on 3rd/4th September 2011 organised by Spadeadam Motor Club, and I am looking for a navigator.

It is Round 6 of the KLMC Team Northern Construction Championship and Round 7 of the SD34 MSG Championship.

The Route:

Approximately 120 miles in total
Maps 85 & 86
'Simple Straightforward navigation'
99.95% sealed surface, but lots of exciting brows and dips.

The Car:

1977 Ford Fiesta MK1 1100 Sport
Standard 1100cc engine with plenty of poke
Fitting uprated Suspension & Brakes
Fully restored at the start of 2011 - very solid shell

The Driver (Me):

Been driving competitively from age 11 - stock car racing
2nd O/A Junior Ministox 2006
3rd O/A Senior Ministox 2008
Now competing with WCMC in Fiesta MK1 & Escort MK2
Currently 1st O/A U21 Championship
2nd O/A Scatter Championship
2nd in Cass Autosolo Championship

P.S. This is my FIRST Road Rally event, although I have been taking part in 12 Car Rallies and Scatters.

I'd be up for it, but I'm sure you'll find someone with some experience which would probably be of benefit, especially in a first event!
