ive got 215/40 17 on my 8.5j's and they are stretched and look the tits, so with 8j i would say this would be the best size and no smaller...
my fronts are 7.5j and have 205/40 17 and are perfect
Mine asre the same size tyres - the rears are stretch but the problem with 17" is you can't get a 225 in 40 profile so you would have to go for a 45 which isn't ideal or jump to a 235/40 which is what i might have to fit to mine, some how
i choose 225/35/17 falken on the front and 245/35/17 falken on the rear....iv not had to trim the front arces but the rears iv had to take the lip all the way of to get them to fit but i am running 20mm spaces on the back an 17mm on the front i needed to do this to clear the brembos on the front..i think the wide stace suits the 3dr tho
Just noticed the wheel spacer thickness!!!! Leeeeeeepu!!!
i was just about to say about them i would only run the size spacers that would be needed to clear the brake so i think that would solve that problem i hope
thank fook for that as that is what my comps are that im about to fit and due to it being 4x4 converted i didnt want to start fookin about with widths and profiles!
Your not allowed to get them Coley as i am getting them when i get back and i seen them first lol, bloody good choice mate i think they look the nuts, a little extra paint for mine though to mix it up a bit
