Question Spraying plastic trim.

Hello,

Can anyone help with spraying some plastic trim as it is grey at the moment but i would like it black.

This is the bit i would like to do as i think it looks out of place. But i dont want to sand them down i would like the detail to stay in them.

They say once you go black you dont go back! But what if i want too? Is it easy?

Many Thanks Eigdoog.

give it a good key with a scotch and dust over a few layers of matt or satin black, ive had great suceess doing similar int he past, unless its like the vauxhall bits were its a weird rubbery type coat and not a paint on your trim?

But will that get rid of the "crinkle" effect?

No, not if you scotch it ,it just dulls the surface to give the paint a "key"

I did this with vinylspray and it's the best thing for it.

As said before: give it a key with a Scotchpad, degrease it and spray with two coats of vinylspray.

Very easy to spray, very scratchresistant and adheres to plastics very very well so no chipping and such.
