bottom of the range taxi model, non turbo diesel, steel rims, it cant get any worse i knew a chap that had a 2.3L, the only half decent thing about that was the v6 cos it was automatic what a bar steward

While it is overpriced it's value comes from it's rarity, try and find another factory taxi model Granada never mind one in that condition, definitely one for a Granada enthusiast/ collector, it would attract plenty of attention at shows because of it's rarity.

Just because it's rare, doesn't mean it's valuable though. It is indeed utterly mint, but it's probably the most undesirable model they do. I can see a 2.8i Ghia X, or a 2.8i Sport going for this kinda cash, but not a clean taxi....
