That's a good bit over priced if you ask me. I looked at one just a couple of weeks ago in blue. Same sort of mileage in perfect nick but totally standard and he only wanted £3250 Ono. Greens not exactly what you would call a desirable colour and could be a fucker to sell on.

IMO thats a chancers price! That hasnt even got a genuine M3 rear bumper.

Its a normal 4dr bumper with a m3 style diffuser. For that money i'd at want the whole car to be mint, lower miles AND genuine! It may have had a bump, however i had my M3 bumpers stolen off my car as they are only held on buy a couple of really easily accessible bolts
I
would be asking questions, and deffo be offering a lot less. If i remember correctly it cost the ins company £600 just for the supply, fit and paint of my back bumper.

You've only gotta look at how long it's been for sale for to tell if it's a good price. Not the most desirable combination! Still good cars but the saloons are worth far less than the coupes, the seats alone in the saloons are a real let down afer the coupe ones.

I sold a black coupe m3 with 100k on it for £3500 about 3 or 4 years ago!

Look at this for comparrison... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-M3-3-2-Evo...#ht_1270wt_937

I'd think a better swap for you would be my unfinished Cossie in the for sale section!!!!

I'm not surprised the bloke was keen to meet half way... it's a wonder he didn't offer to drive to your door to swap that for an Evo 5, but prob didnt want to look too eager.

I went and drove a 3.0 m3 i was concidering as a daily driver.

The one i drove wasn't as shiny but had 101,000 miles, full black vaders etcetc and was up for £2500.

After a good drive, my current auto 328i is the better car to use every day, the m3 was cool but im sure the fun factor would die after a few months.

I did a lot of research, the 3.0 seems to be a better every day car, and £3500-4000 gets you a really nice one.
