mine chatters on 7psi on K E-jet 
SOMETIMES you'll get a lil "whoop" an thats it, but mine chatters a few times 
cant really hear it on the motorway cos the rest of the car muffles it out, but goin through a street or a tunnel it sounds pretty good for an ERST 
obv nothing compared to a cossie!!

My KE managed RST chatters. Not loudly like an EFi equipped car but it aint bad at all. 
EFI will be on the cards eventually but it seems daft to spend 2k for minimal performance gains

sorry guys as u have noticed im a new member an have only recently got my car iv modded loads of other cars but im new to the erst i got the car as a challenge and it came with little apart from k&n scorpion exhaust a bleed valve dont know if it is chiped or anything but i want to get it up to 200+ bhp any ideas and costs?

it aint frigging wastegate chatter - its fuckall to do with the wastegate 
its high pressure boost air been forced back thru the turbocharger and the compressor blades cut the air and create the twittering turkey noises. - turbo chatter or "stall" as some call it

Mine used to chat like a monkey on coke!
u can get mfi to chatter! u just run booodals of boost as Jase P's S2 used to chatter well!
also depends how u come off the power as DOO's S2 used to chatter if u came off slow!

Paul it can be expensive.
Main things you need are EFI manifold, with injectors etc.
EFI turbo loom and brain.
Good idea to get a totaled FRST and swap the bits over.
