As far as the engine goes, will it do 201.8 mph or more, at brunters?? If not, it dont mean shit!!
Impressive though!!
^^--BTW this is a lighthearted banter before anyone goes off!!

Bigger pic for you...
Says on 1st post its got 1bar boost by 3500rpm...
Well far as i can see it dont hit 1bar till nearly 4500rpm and under 200bhp till 4150rpm...
Luckily even tho there feck all below 4k the power rises to 400bhp by 4600 so not too bad.
In a way its daft people slagging the RC EVO in the past then praising this car so much (jus cause its a cossie) as the RC EVO had no power (ie under 400bhp anyhow) till 5500rpm, 1000rpm later, but did have "allegedly" 150bhp more.
Its same this car cant be compared to Rods either.
Power delivery is feck all compared to rods, but thats to be expected when this car gives about 150more than rods car WITHOUT using nitrous.
Awesome numbers, but not the best powerband when peak power is only 7000rpm, but with the capacity i dont think you can get any better
I think people can ONLY criticise this car if they ever manage to get similar power with a better powerband with no nitrous, and doubt thats possible, so dont.
In a way this engine shows the real advantage of nitrous, can have a car with a really nice powerband AND big power, wheras with no gas the powerband cant ever be as good (so car can never be as nice or userfriendly to drive).
Nitrous is feck all good for much apart from straight line stuff tho, but then again big power is feck all good for much apart from straight line stuff anyhow so its not an argument anyone can make (before anyone starts )

I cant see any point in engines like that in a road car, but massive power engines with nitrous work fantastically, but no point even trying to have a nitrous discussion on here cause too many people are far too blinkered to actually discuss it properly.

Theres no point in having that much power in a road car (of Cossie weight anyway) full stop - no matter what the delivery is like.
In a race/track/top speed car you will be able to keep it in the powerband anyway so whatever goes on low down is neither here or there really...

Is there really no point? (providing you have the grip to make use of it)
Surely thats just a matter of opinion.
Lot of people say any more than 330bhp is a waste on the road in a Cossie.
I found even with 2bar boost on a T34 and greys on my totally stripped out 3dr there was a LOT of times where i felt idve liked even more power and i had shockingly bad traction, if i had the traction as good as a decent 4x4 Cossie id of wanted much more power much more often.
Think its all down to the individual, how they use the car, and how (for want of a better word) "fearless" they are.
