Proper linered block....pistons/rods/crank...its only gonna wear out bearings/rings quickly..although they last a season flat out..not mega miles but i bet in a road car you could get 4000miles before a freshen up thats if youy was a nutter and could use that power anywhere...or i reckon 20000miles with the occassional foot down ...lower the comp to 8-1 for 98.6ron.

Phil,
125mph flat-oot is NOT the same as the forces subjected to even 150mph, let alone 180mph, but you know best .

Mike...how often do you exeed a rallycross cars top speed of 135mph plus on a road and hold it for long periods? ...On a top speed run youd have to use big ron fuel thats bleeding obvious

Mike...its HORSES for COURSES.

I think I'll plead the fifth on that one, as anything I say may incriminate me... .

Mike...we aint talking about a lowly 500bhp car here ...once i put this throttle down you are gonna shit before you reach 135mph and have to stop to clean up the mess ...and even when Billy gets in and i start the engine

...and even will Billy gets in and i start the engine

For the benefit of others, this translates to:

...as will Bill when he gets in and I only start the engine....

Phil, you're assuming I'd even sit in it.....the interior is too similar to a Sapph's - I'd get the heebie jeebies again, like I did in your Sapph'

EDITED to say: B'STAD!!! Phil edited before I posted
