just bought a car on ebay for the mrs, going to collect on Friday so ive bought a days insurance with breakdown cover @ £17.95 my question is as its for only one day will the ANPR camera's flag the car up as no insurance, i dont have a printer so i cant print off the certificate, just in case, i guess i could take the policy/certificate number with me, what are your thoughts

Just take the number and Ins co. name

I did a 400 mile round trip recently in a day insured car, was passed or passed by lots of Police cars and none stopped us.
Either North Wales finest were having a bad day or it didn't flag up.

I had one day insurance on a car and there wasnt enough time for it to go on the insurance database so when I drove it I made sure I had the policy document, good photo I.D and my license with me. I didnt have any problems !
