yeah it been covered a few times on here; the development costs in the main, plus he has some trick bits in the build

its a proven motor end of the day

I was going to say it's probably a bomb proof motor at that horsepower with nothing overlooked or any corners cut.

The turbo's probably over £5k on it's own, plus the inconel exhaust manifold, roller barrels, billet block strengthening plate, billet pistons etc...

It's not a case of is it good value for 550bhp, it's is it good value for 550bhp from a restricted turbo that will last the 10 minute? (or so) races for a whole season with the aggressive als

Them rallycross engine take a fair beating plus u hardly see any engine failures, pretty sure my yb wouldn't take that shit for ten mins at a time for a whole season

at the end of the day if you have the money and no time or knowledge then its a good buy, as for me with 3 kids a house and only on 28k a year its far too much money.
