check sills for rust under sideskirts and rear inner sills which you can feel by putting your hand round, also strut tops, seen a few recently where these are rusted through

The thing is I'm not the sort of person that expects a 20 year old car to be mint I've owned enough old cars to work that one out but at the same time if I'm buying a car and I ask what defects/rust/dents etc no matter how small I want to know about them not beat around the bush and cover them up so when I go there and spend Ł80+ on fuel to find them anyway and be fooked
Of about it and after asking him 3 times if there are any probs etc him saying no then he says the boot doesn't open he don't know why etc that's a pretty big fookin problem to me pal why not tell me that 1st and put it in the ad so what else is he not Telling

oh and another thing, he didnt take it in part ex at all, he bought the car for less than 4 grand, looks like a dog to me....look at the paint finish on the rear passenger door and quarter, the reflections hava mat finish. these are all things to look at when buying one. if someones had a shit paintjob done then what else have they cut corners on. thats just my opinion.

also, if the first car you look at is the right one, dont not buy it because everone say's "dont buy the first one you look at"

Mine was an 82k, genuine mileage, rust free looked after beauty and was the first one i looked at, couldn't leave it there for what i paid!
