mine was in a 3.5 tonne lwb van and had already lost my job so couldnt really plead id need my licence for my job. i was just givin a rough idea for someone caught over the limit more than a few mph obviously every case is different with mitigating circumstances. a down and out with no need for a licence other than personal use will always get a worse punishment than someone who needs it for work, or has disabilitys, can get covering letters from bosses, doctors stuff.. bullshit goes on.. endless possibilitys and outcomes
