Excluding MadRod's car, who out of you has the most powerful FORD engined car ?

Bruce had one of my favourite cars his 3 door in 1997 @ dono was amazing.

not sure now.....sunny claimed 500bhp

It's nice to know that you stalk about us so much but out of curiosity whats the most powerful car you've produced for a SEC'ETTE Simon? Also have you built or mapped a Zetec Turbo before...and if so what was the power output? + what times did these car do?

Pete, thats correct. He's built a few engines - but these were mostly for himself/friends.

The electronics stuff that he designs can be seen in all sorts of cars, mainly Jap performance models. The engine monitors he designed for Subaru were fitted (by Prodrive) to all of the UK-300 models, and to most of the Prodrive "Special UK" versions.

Other cars using his monitors (apart from Cossies) include Skylines/Mitsubushi EVO's......the monitors are shipped all over the world. Simon has also done a lot or work for Honda in Swindon - all engine/performance based electronics.

He designed "from scratch" the control systems for the Norris Designs engine dyno facility - fan/water/safety circuits - and wired it all up (with Spenner on here) too

To date the most powerfull YB engines with his ECU fitted (AFAIK) are Nick (Bristol Group) 620 BHP iirc.......Porky 604 BHP, Brom GT42 turbo ??? BHP..........And I am sure that I have forgotton a few

Intersting to note that his S8 ECU is specified and used by Paul at PJ Motorsport, GGR, Julian Gorfrey, Harvey Gibb (SCS)....again I'm sure I've forgotton one or two

Yeah like i am gonna ditch an ECU that cost Ł300 for an ECU considerably more expensive,if i had confidence....this engine i am building needs a proper control system...i mean look at Broms...ecu error or mapper error...you decide!

rod no offence but dave has a very powerfull nd very pretty car and ok hes a big MAD fan but he dont talk about his top speed, powerfull wicked spec engine alot, he just opens the door and says "this is what mark can do, jump in"

how many times does that 200mph actually come in handy ,

oh HOW MUCH IS A AUTRONIC ECU !!!!!!!!!!, no fooker seems to know, is it a varied price for different customers or what, i cant understand that , thats a serious enquiry as i even know what jano charges for his ecu conversion but i dont know how much is this shit hot autronic ecu off mark , every fooker seems to go quiet and say ask mark , maybe if mark mentioned a price people could make there own asumptions if they want it or not rather than have ranj sayiong how good his one is ( aint made his car anyfaster yet ) sunny talking about how good autronic is ( he even removed pectel of his car so thats a strange thing to di as im sure pectel is more known), daves car runs very very well, thats on autronic aint it, not sure as i dont thinkdaves been fitted with the must big up autronic in his head yet , maybe his next conversion mark will reprogram him )

just a genuine queston and rod did the autronic make the difference to ya top speed that much , im cinfused as does this mean i cant have a quick car unless i fit autronic ( and do 203mph too, forgot that bit )

Played the Trumpet/cornet for 35years & was quite good at that as well.
Did dates at Albert Hall & The Palladium. so i suppose the answer is not any more.

phil i never heard of any off ya until the net, ive used to as a customer as im sure alot of people have and must admit i do recomend you to most people that i speak to

but the biggest and loudest complaint has been from you !!!, i know simon has had his issues, im not backing him in anyway !!!!, broms error im sure was the rev celing on his car wasnt it , simons ecu is technically untested, but alot of companies do that test there stuff that way and wait for the complains and then sort em out

simon offered a few people ecu's for testing at decent rates, im surenthey new the risks ad where willing to take the chance !

now i dont know the ins and outs off all secs issues, i dont want to tbh what i do know is he has alot of companies happy with his works by the sounds of it

im sure hes sorted his other issues and hes not had anymore headaches from most users except you and the autronic massive
