Just make a logbook for it and write down the mileage, date and what you have done exactly and keep the receipts, this will be worth far more to a buyer as it shows you take good care of the car spending the time writing up exactly what you do. Also it helps you remember what needs doing and when

The only dealership that can touch my car is the dealership in which my tuner works during the days (he does performance cars during the night in his workshop but impossible to live from it), but there nobody ever drives it exept for him and they only do whet they are told to do - I used them only for things like suspension geometry adjustment. Maybe electrics in future but only if they tell their workmate they feel competent enough.

Tiff, Don't they list everything done in the service??
If so then do a full service on it yourself then take it to them, explain what has been done and get them to check it over, poss give them something small to change and then they can stamp your book, itemising that nothing needed replacing. you'll most likely have to pay an hours labour but atleast you'll have a stamped book and no tool working on you car.
Can't see why they would object!!

Smiffy, who works for me now, spent several years in a Ford dealership.
He pointed out to me that there is NO provision on ANY service for the checking of oil level of a manual gearbox.
I didn't believe him until he showed me the service sheets, and it's there in black and white.....
"Visual check for leaks"
That goes for EVERY service
So, whatever your model of Ford, if it has always been serviced at a Ford dealership, and has a manual transmission, it will never have had its gearbox oil level checked or topped up!!!!!!

Tiff, I haven't got a service book for Bluey
Just stick all receipts in a folder for keep safe, prooves it's been done
I wouldn't bother with Ford service history, to me as a buyer I would re-do it all if I saw Ford had serviced it

2 years ago there was a Recall on certain BMW 3 series... so Renton had to take the car to an official BMW Dealer. Can you imagine the look on their faces when they saw a Cossie engine in the bay.
