Default sierra/escort cosworth steering racks?????

hello people, can anyone tell me:

is a 2wd steering rack the same as a 4x4 steering rack????????

&

will a complete sierra rack fit onto a escort cosworth???

might be another strange question but:

does an escort normal mk5/6 escort steering rack fit onto a cosworth bed???
as been told it does???

any help would be great

NO they are different 2wd is different from 4wd but a 4wd sierra rack fits a escos.
I can't see a mk5/6 rack fitting a escos, as escos is sierra floorpan shortened to suit escort bodyshell.

As I understand it, the escos rack uses the same rack body as a sierra 4x4, but the steering arms are different

You didn't actually ask that though did you? As said above a 4x4 Sierra rack will fit an Escos.
