I believe they are slightly different in shape/size and are not a straight swap unfortunately.

it should mount to the box as the mondeo uses a mtx75 which is the same as the rs2k,
however the mondeo t-box favours the front wheels where as the rs2k t -box is a 40/60 power split so most of the power goes to the rears

they arent aload of wank if treated properly.
most fail due to low oil levels or neglect.

jasons old red 4x4 turbo ran over 300bhp reliably with no issues until the new owner decided to do doughnuts from standstill at full throttle.

I remember your white 4x4 cvh turbo, the t-box went bang not long after you bought it didnt it?

I believe the input & output splines are different the Mondeo transfer box is much bigger and stronger it also puts more power to the front wheels so has less strain on the transfer box & rear diff the Mondeo box came out later than the RS2k box so was a revised design so is the better setup

I had two in matter of months at 350 a pop its not worth blow that sort of money at it they cant even take std power of 150bhp my rs 2000 4x4 was running 220bhp so had to get rid of it for that but i say this is was so nice to drive just the box let it down. not long after i sold it the same thing happen again so in my eye its the worse thing about the 4x4 that lets it down
