genuin crossflow to replace endura? difficult?
hi all, how hard is it to replace an endura type engine with a genuine crossflow?
interested because of the availabilty of tuning parts etc etc.
also, would a escort style crossflow physically fit in a fiesta engine bay?
(escort crossflows were longer than fiesta versions)
thanks for any help

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Alright mate sounds Like a good idea if you really wanna keep a Kent style engine.
Think the main problem you'll get with the rwd engines is they don't have a lug for the mount which you'll need for front wheel drive.
Best bet is to look out for a fiesta mk1 xr2 crossflow this will have the correct mount then .

20K+ Super Poster.
Parts wise for tuning is ace for both engines, they were/are distinguished by RWD or FWD, kent, or crossflow in RWD and valencia in FWD, which as you rightly say are slightly shorter, there are other differences as well.
